Perform the move

Rest rear foot on a low bench, descend over the front leg in a comfortable range and rise with control. Return slowly to the starting position. Keep breathing and stop if the movement causes pain.

Train knee extension and leg strength across a comfortable range.

Common mistake

Setting the rear foot so high that balance dictates the movement.
