Setup

Clear a safe space, warm up and begin with light load or the non-jumping version. Keep the movement within your capacity.

Perform the move

Rise onto the toes, then settle into a shallow athletic stance with hips back and knees tracking over the feet. Stabilize quietly before resetting. Return slowly to the starting position. Keep breathing and stop if the movement causes pain.

Why use it?

A low-dose landing-control drill before higher jumps. Begin with 2 × 4 controlled repetitions.

Common mistake

Increasing load, speed or impact before technique stays consistent.
